I bought my 58 inch Samsung Plasma

Written By: admin - Jan• 27•12

I bought my 58 inch Samsung Plasma about a year ago and have loved it ever since so when my parents wanted a new tv I immediately thought to go with Samsung but after reading Consumer Reports I decided on this amazing Panasonic. I waited several weeks to write this review after purchasing because I was terrified of the fluctuating brightness problems. The posts about this problem on here did not get written til just after I made the

purchase for my parents. I almost canceled the order before delivery but it was such a good price I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did! I don't even know how to begin describing the phenomenal picture that this tv produces. The first thing I did was a firmware update over wifi and I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. I turned off C.A.T.S. like others suggested and I have never noticed a single fluctuation with the brightness over the past month that my parents have had this tv. I do have to mention that the audio quality out of the box was not impressive but after tweaking the audio options the volume increased dramatically and I managed to improve the quality of the audio to a very acceptable level. My own tv is hooked up to a 5.1 home theater system so I'm very spoiled with audio but my parents say that the Panasonic audio sounds great

to them compared to their old 50 inch plasma so I'll leave it at that. Although there could always be more options for tweaking the picture and sound I'd say there are plenty adjustment options on this unit. My parents living room is pretty brightly lit so the Game mode seems to be the best option of viewing modes for them. There is one mode that is even brighter than Game and that is Vivid though I've been told by a Panasonic customer service rep that you shouldn't use that mode for the first couple months of use. No need to worry if you have a brightly lit room as Game mode is plenty bright enough. I love all the applications including Netflix and Pandora especially since Pandora lets you input several log in email addresses at once so you can switch between music accounts with a touch of a button. Pick your account and bam your music is up and running

right on your tv. If I had to nit pick I'd say that sometimes (maybe once out of every 10 times) the tv gives me an error when I try to connect to the internet. All I have to do is back out and hit the button again and it connects so this is not a huge deal. I have yet to try the 3D mode so I can't comment on that but over all the tv is fantastic. I've seen 65 inch tv's at more than double the price of this one who's picture doesn't look any better to me (in fact they often looks worse). My parents tv is connected to Dish Network and the HD quality is the best I've ever seen on any television. You can probably get a few more bells and whistles on Panasonic's highest end televisions but I doubt you'd be much more impressed with the picture quality. This is by far the best tv for the money in my opinion.

On average, teleseminars that

Written By: admin - Jan• 24•12

On average, teleseminars that charge a registration fee cost from $29.95 to $39.95. Generally, those running a teleseminar series simply multiply the number of sessions by a figure in the average range, then lower the total cost to a psychologically appealing price point. For example, a series of four teleseminars usually costs around $99 because $29.95 times 4 is $119.80. However, if youre savvy about factors that boost the perceived value of teleseminars, you can charge many times more than the going rate. For instance, in the summer of 2008, I ran an eight-session teleseminar course for which I charged and got $997. A few months before that, I ran a four-session teleseminar course for which I charged and got $795.

Do the math, and youll see that I received up to five times the going rate. Heres how you might be able to do the same. Add as many of the following factors as you can to your offering and watch people happily pay high enrollment fees. Eight Factors That Boost The Perceived Value of Teleseminars 1. An outcome. Participants will pay much more for a teleseminar series that promises to deliver a result or outcome rather than merely offering education, insight or support. Compare Start and Finish Your Nonfiction Book in 90 Days or Become an eBay Power Seller, which clearly aim at a specific result, with Managing Difficult Employees, which is bound to be helpful but does not target an outcome. 2. Instructors reputation. If the leader is well-known, impressively credentialed or highly respected by the target audience, the admission fee can go higher than for a no-name unknown. 3. Rarity of the class. For my $997 eight-session class, I told my list it was
a one-time group version of my $2995 one-on-one training. Since Im known to be a straight shooter, people wanted to take advantage of their one and only opportunity to learn the material from me for less than $1,000. If you offer your teleseminar course only once every two years, thats the next best thing to presenting it one time only – and also effective in boosting peoples willingness to pay higher than usual fees. 4. Tangible materials. When you offer hard-copy printouts and

not something dreamt up for a Hollywood movie…

CDs or DVDs along with your teleseminars rather than just telephone sessions and downloadable extras, the perceived value rises greatly. Most participants appreciate having a physical copy of your material rather than just a memory of the sessions and some files on their computer. The tangible materials also help assuage a participants worry about not being able to attend all the sessions. 5. Consulting, coaching or mentoring component. Build some sort of one-on-one help or advice into your course, and you can charge lots more for your teleseminar or series. And guess what – surprisingly few participants take advantage of such an opportunity. Since they figure thats their own fault, theyre still willing to pay the premium fee for something that makes one-on-one advice or feedback available. 6. Additional services. My four-session $795 teleseminar course included having me distribute a press release for them at no charge – a $149 value. Here Im not suggest
ing simply piling on downloadable bonuses, which everyone knows cost next to nothing to deliver, but bundling in an extra service that would normally cost extra, such as free proofreading or free cover design for the participant in Start and Finish Your Nonfiction Book in 90 Days. 7. Certification. Participants adore it when satisfactory completion of your program enables them to call themselves a certified something or other. Because this beefs up their credentials, theyre

happy to pay more for a program that includes certification. 8. Continuing education credit. In some industries, professionals have to earn a certain number of educational credits every year to keep their license current. If that applies to your area of expertise, investigate which organizations are in charge of determining which courses can count for such credits, then apply for includion in that program. The very same content is worth more to participants who can satisfy continuing education requirements by signing up with you. Along with increasing the perceived value of teleseminar programs, the eight factors above strongly reduce refund requests, too. Now go back through the list and think about which elements you can incorporate to boost your teleseminar profits!

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, often

Written By: admin - Jan• 24•12

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, often called TSO, is a rock orchestra founded in the mid-1990s. The bands style is very hard to describe, as it incorporates elements of classical musical, heavy metal, symphonic metal and progressive rock. While the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is based in New York City, it often tours around the world. That means that people in unusual and obscure locations may get the chance to experience this unique sound. One of the things the orchestra is the most famous for is its renditions of traditional Christmas music. Some of the best known pieces include Wizards in Winter and their rendition of Carol of the Bells – Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24. Originally

founded in Florida, the groups name comes from Russias Trans-Siberian Railway. This railway connects many cultures that would otherwise be isolated, in the same way the band hopes to connect them with music. Initially, despite the fact that members of the orchestra had produced and managed other well-known rock acts, the idea of a band playing Christmas music and other material in rock opera style did not go over well with the music industry. Fortunately, fans felt otherwise, and the TSO quickly proved to be a success with people of all ages. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra tours with a band including fourteen musicians, two narrators and fourteen vocalists, and uses a full choir and sixty piece orchestra in the recording studio. Band members change periodically, and musicians used on tour may be local to the area the TSO is touring. The debut album from the orchestra: Christmas Eve and Other Stories, was released in 1996. Its still their best selling alb
um, though they also released another themed Christmas concept album, The Christmas Attic, in 1998. This album contained one of the orchestras most recognizable songs – their version of Pachelbels famous Canon in D, called Christmas Canon. Their first and so far only non Christmas album was released in 2000. Called Beethovens Last Night, this concept album is about the last night on Earth

of Ludvig van Beethoven. Over the course of the album, he meets the infamous Mephistopheles, as well as Fate and her son. They toured for several years, then went back to the studio in 2004 for the album Lost Christmas Eve, as well as an accompanying three CD set containing all their Christmas albums to that point. A non-Christmas album has been in the works for some time, called Night Castle. Originally projected to be released in early 2008, the album has still not come out. Its expected to contain the TSOs rendition of Carl Orffs O Fortuna from Carmina Burana, which has been performed during tours in the past several years. Tours usually run during the winter each year, beginning in November and ending around the beginning of January. This matches up with the TSOs primarily Christmas themed discography. The bands devotion to perfection has been blamed for the long delay in releasing the album, and previous albums have also been severely delayed, with B
eethovens Last Nights release delayed for two years and the Lost Christmas Eve delayed for a year. This tendency has caused the band to joke about whether or not Night Castle will ever come out – a joke usually followed up with a performance of O Fortuna. Live shows by the TSO are known for use of extensive lasers, lights and pyrotechnics, all carefully synchronized with the bands performance.

Shows usually are divided into two halves, with the first half containing Christmas Eve and Other stories, and the second being a mix of albums which may also include covers of work by other artists. Trans-Siberian Orchestra concerts usually finish off with Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24, their most famous piece. This unique musical group maintains a website and fansite devoted to their work, which includes information about album releases and the current tour, as well as general information about the current lineup and the music. Music, clothing and other merchandise can be purchased through the Trans-Siberian Orchestra site. Anyone looking for an unusual and fascinating experience should take a few moments to listen to this amazing musical group. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has a lot to offer, and mixes many different musical styles and backgrounds to create an experience like no other.

How do you prevent

Written By: admin - Jan• 23•12

How do you prevent people who have registered for your teleseminar from passing around the teleseminar call-in information to those who havent paid for it? This question came in from someone preparing to launch her first teleseminar. Based on my years of experience leading teleseminars and my conversations with other teleseminar presenters, this worry has little foundation in fact. In most niches, this kind of dishonesty simply does not happen. Even so, theres no sense in tempting fate, so there are a few steps you can take to minimize

the odds of non-legitimate participants calling in to your telseminar. First, provide the call-in number and access code for the conference-call line by email rather than posting it on a web page, where some Internet-savvy people and search engines can find it even when you havent publicized the page. Second, tell your paying participants exactly what to do if they know someone else whos interested in the teleseminar. Even when its a free teleseminar, I tell registrants to direct friends to the signup page rather than give them the call-in information, because there are a limited number of slots for the call. Studies show that if you provide a reason for something, people are more likely to comply with your request. Third, youll most likely be able to see for yourself whether or not unregistered people are calling in to your teleseminar. Most bridge line providers either routinely provide you with a list of those who called in or will do so upon reques
t. You can simply compare the number of people signed up with the number of people who called in. What youll see, I predict,

is that there are people who paid for the call but dont show up and do not ask for a refund rather than people who called in but did not sign up and pay. You thereby come out ahead, not behind. One firm that has a teleseminar admission fee in the hundreds of dollars told me that they once noticed an unauthorized company dialing into an event. If I remember correctly, they noticed it because of an unfamiliar area code showing up in the participant list. After investigating, they approached the interloper afterwards in a low-key manner, telling them that someone had called in from their company without registering, and the offender quickly paid up – probably never to try to pull that move again. Note that while this situation did occur, it happened only once for this company that presented a couple of dozen teleseminar events each year. A last bit of advice: If youre concerned about teleseminar gatecrashers, provide your handouts by email also, rather than
posting them on the web. Otherwise the handouts can become accessible in web searches. See this for yourself by typing teleseminar

handout or teleclass handout into Google. Thousands of handouts come up, some of them for courses that cost many hundreds of dollars to attend. I believe that most of those who posted those handouts did not intend them to be publicly available. Generally, however, all you have to do is simply provide the call-in information and handouts to registrants via email and then concentrate on delivering the very best program you can.

Long distance love is challenging. But as online dating grows more and more popular, so do Uhaul and Ryder truck rentals. The good side is that you can be more selective, refining your search

But theres a few fun and frivolous things you can do at a distance that you just cant do in close proximity. Heres a few creative tips on romancing your paramour across the miles: 1. Get a Cheap Long Distance Plan. Intimacy can blossom quickly over the phone, with less inhibitions blocking our speech. But as much as youd like to create sparks on the phone line, you shouldnt burn up your budget with long distance charges. Some cheap long distance alternatives include unlimited cell phone plans or Voice over IP VoIP, which gives you one low price, as low as $30 a month, for all the chatting, or silent pauses, you want. 2. Invest in a Web Cam. Distance doesnt

While email is convenient, theres nothing more traditionally romantic than an old fashioned snail mail letter. Suddenly got writers block? Type it in an email, then rewrite it on paper. 4. Whether its your own

Written By: admin - Jan• 18•12

Whether its your own teleseminar or youre appearing as guest expert on someone elses teleseminar, you will often have an opportunity to tell listeners about a special offer. Normally youd offer a discount not available to the public at large or something free that isnt generally advertised at all. Listeners appreciate this gesture. Just be aware of several pitfalls. First, consider whether a recording of the teleseminar will be made available. In many membership programs,

members have the option of listening live or listening to the recording, either by downloading an MP3 file or by getting a CD in the mail. In other situations, the recording goes on sale to the general public for years to come or becomes downloadable for future members who missed the live event. In any of these instances, you must resist the urge to put a time limit on your special offer. Recently I heard a teleclass guest offer a discount by the end of today, only to have the host tell her that many members would receive the interview on MP3 in a day or two. Well then, the offer is valid just the day they receive the email about the MP3, she said. That didnt work either, really, because the Gold members also received all the interviews on CD and probably wouldnt listen immediately. A time-limited teleclass offer comes across as unfair unless everyone has been told, prior to the call, that they have to join the live call or immediately

listen to the recording to be able to take advantage of a special offer. You need to realize, too, that words like today and tomorrow are profoundly unclear to those listening to a recording. Always clarify such words with dates. If you intend to put your own teleclass recording up for sale afterwards, you must either make sure the special offer remains valid indefinitely or edit the offer out of the recorded version of the call. Publicity expert Joan Stewart handles this by telling participants in advance to stay on the line after she turns off the teleclass recording to hear that days special offer. Thats one very effective solution! Another time-related pitfall Ive heard is describing a discount for an upcoming program but failing to mention the date of the event, even with something like next week or next month. People may be listening to the recording soon enough to take advantage of the discount, but theyre in their car or out

jogging without the Internet at hand to look it up. Unless they really, really, really want to attend, this vagueness deadens their interest. Special offers without a time limit are easiest to manage on teleclasses, but with forethought and planning, time-limited ones can work as well.

Bought this one to replace the last

Written By: admin - Jan• 17•12

Bought this one to replace the last 46″ Panny Plasma I owned for two years. I had the Panasonic Viera TH-46PZ85U which I bought on Amazon back then. Beautiful TV.

Time for an upgrade. I got the VIERA TC-P46S30 off Amazon Warehouse for a lot less than new, and about $300 less than the one I bought two years ago. Very happy because even thought

the Warehouse deal had been returned – open box, cosmetic flaws, whatever – it looked like a brand new v when it got here and I opened it. No indication that it had ever been out of the box or assembled, and certainly no technical issues. Powered it up and got it hooked up with everything else quickly.

This one looks bigger than my old one for the simple reason the bezel is smaller than that old one. Same size screen, but sitting on my stand the bezel is noticeably smaller and much, much less noticeable. Awesome.

Viera link is great – turn on my DTV box, and the reciver and the TV also kick in at the same time. Turn on the tv and same thing happens with the other components. Easy.

Viera

tools – looks like it's going to allow me to get some Pandora streaming radio goind as well as look through Amazon movies. I didn't know this when I got it, but with Amazon Prime membership, you get access to all the movies and shows Amazon has. Also awesome.

TV is beautiful. Perfect size for me. I'm not the kind of guy who envisions paying $1500 for a tv, so this is perfect. Great settings for picture control and it's so easy to setup. Updated the USB connectivity so I can pull stuff off my PC, where I have all my videos, and move them onto a flash drive and into the side of the TV to look at pics and music and movies. Tried one MKV files which the tv played, but it

could not decode the audio from it. Bummer – Pannasonic has to get on the ball and improve their codec support for video and audio settings if they want their Viera line to go from so-so to awesome. And why can't you get the TV to play AVI files, for the love of god? AVI files are everywhere and the TV won't play them natively? The Panny DVD player I bought two years ago plays them, but now your newer TVs won't? What's the holdup?

Great TV especially since I got a bargain off Amazon Warehouse. Delivery was less than five days to my door, although I have to say the delivery 'service' was less than stellar. But that's another story.

As the owner of

Written By: admin - Jan• 17•12

As the owner of a small business, you are, in many ways living in what Charles Dickens called, in his book, A Tale of Two Cities, the best of times and the worst of times. Its the best of times because information technology, and the Internet in particular, has in many ways leveled the playing field for soloprenuers and business professions. What was once available only to companies with lots of capital and resources–such as having an international presence–is now available to anyone with a computer and Internet access. You can, literally create a product today and be selling it to businesses around the world tomorrow. But technology has always been a double-edged sword. Accessibility is accessibility for Everyone. Technology doesnt discern who or what is behind an offer which is why most of us are deluged

by spam, junk mail, junk faxes, and telemarketing. The unfortunate result is we become immune to most marketing appeals. Human beings are wonderfully adaptable. Our brains can only process a finite amount of sensory input and as the number of sales appeals have increased, our brains have simply become better at filtering. Whether you think of your marketing as viral or not, your prospects can quickly become immune. If youre a innovative small business owner selling something businesses and individuals need, this can be frustrating. How can you connect with prospective customers who would benefit from your products and services with so much noise in the background? There are three strategies you can use to make sure your prospects dont develop immunity to YOUR marketing messages: 1. Make your marketing distinctively yours. In my opinion, the single biggest mistake most small business owners make with their marketing is failing to disting
uish themselves from their competitors. Thats too bad because there are so many ways–many of which are simple and inexpensive–to create an attractive, memorable brand. Ask yourself what it is that makes your products and services distinctive and preferable given the choices available to your customers. Then ask yourself if your marketing message reflects what makes you different and special. If youre challenged to come up with much, theres a good chance that your marketing is going out beneath your prospects radar. Youre broadcasting but theyre not picking up the signal. 2. Make your message appropriately personal. Authentic, personal messages seem very rare these

days. Thats why Im such a fan of handwritten notes. A handwritten note or even a sincere, personal email is something most people give extra attention to. Why? Because it says that the sender took some time to think about the recipient; it sends the message You matter to me and Youre not just a name in our database. Appropriately personal means your messages should be appropriate to the depth of your relationship. Mail merge technology makes it easy to personalize mass mailings so instead of a generic greeting, Dear subscriber an email begins as Dear Mary, because the sender collected the recipients first name and can automatically insert it after the Dear. Used wisely, such features make otherwise impersonal mailings to feel more intimate. Unfortunately, this technology has also led to some marketers sending smarmy, overly familiar messages such as Mary, I need your help now! or Mary, you wont believe the shocking offer were making! Yuck. Some marke
ters argue that being obnoxious is better than being ignored–and for some businesses that may be true. The point is, if you want to be noticed and you want people to connect with you, be aware of the type of connection youre creating. 3. Make your message relevant and actionable. Relevant refers to offering something your customer or client wants. Yes, I said wants not needs. Not because needs are irrelevant but because most folks are far more interested in getting their wants met…at least at first. A message that says, we have what you want makes it past the filter more often than a message that says We have what you need. For example, a disorganized entrepreneur

WANTS to get their taxes done so they dont get fined. They may NEED a better system to organize and manage their finances but the accountant that offers to take their grocery bag of receipts, organize them, and file a tax return will get attention a lot faster than the accountant who offers a financial management system. Once the taxes are dealt with, the entrepreneur may be open to implementing an organizing system but their immediate pain must first be addressed. Many business owners also miss the opportunity to ask their current and prospective customers to take action. The type of action Im referring to is something simple and easy. In an email or on a website, the action is to click a hyperlink to download a free article. In a newsletter delivered by post, the action is to call to get a free estimate. When someone takes an action, it is a way, again, of creating connection and making an impression. Or conversely, a way to avoid becoming so much flots
am and jetsam that gets caught in your prospects mental filter.

Does this sound familiar?

Does this sound familiar? Youve decided to start a new business … or youve created a new product … or youve finally decided to create a website for your existing business … and you need a domain name. So you go to a domain registration site like Godaddy and type in the URL you want for example marketingforeveryone.com and find out … … someone else already owns the name. In fact your three

favorite domain names are taken. But wait! Only the domain names ending with .com are taken. You can still get the domain name you want if you register using .info, .us, .biz. In fact, you can register your preferred domain name as just about anything. Except as a .com. Like many small business owners, you wonder, do I REALLY need to register my domain as .com? Ive asked this question myself when trying to find the right domain name. Its utterly maddening to submit one domain name after another only to learn each is taken. ============================== The Reason to Choose Dot Com for Your Domain ============================== The reason lies in why people visit your website to begin with. People are visiting your website because your business offers them something that want: information, a solution,

not something dreamt up for a Hollywood movie…

entertainment, etc. Whether or not they visit is based on how likely they think you can provide what theyre looking for. They also want to feel safe. They want to feel that behind the website there is a business owner who cares. Contrast this with websites domains like 1000leads4U.biz, loansnow.info, and cheapbizcards.us. Domain names like these feel opportunistic. They suggest the business owner is focused primarily on making a quick buck with the absolute minimum investment in time and attention. Dont know about you but those arent the types of businesses I want to give my phone number to much less my credit card number. ============================== Bottom Line ============================== Its worth taking the time and energy to find a .com domain name for your businesss website or blog. Despite

the proliferation of options .biz, .tv, .us, .info, people still associate .com with the qualities of trustworthiness and commitment to service. Everything else being equal, customers will still choose .com over the alternatives.
